As for the material I use to tie my projects, it will always be paracord. Paracord is parachute cord (also 550 cord) a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during World War II. Once in the field, paratroopers found this cord useful for many other tasks. It is now used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians. This versatile cord was even used by astronauts during STS-82, the second Space Shuttle mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.
Also you may notice throughout this blog that I title each post as "Unique..", I use the term "unique" loosely and the projects on this blog are "unique" to me and maybe not the internet world.
I enjoy massing all the information I can so that I will know as much as I can on subjects that I find interesting. Once I find something that I think is unique or hard to find I will be adding it to this blog along with some unique-to-me projects.

For best viewing of this blog I recommend installing and using the newest version of Mozilla Firefox. I've been using Firefox for years and speaking from a Web Designer's point of view, nothing comes close to Firefox whether it's speed or safety you're looking for in an internet browser, Firefox offers what you need.
